Magic Substrate Kit 1

This is a coir based substrate that is designed specifically for compost and dung loving species. The bulk dry ingredients, when mixed, make 10.5 lbs of perfectly hydrated substrate that is generally used in a mono tub or similar tek. This substrate DOES contain horse manure. This kit is substrate only and does not include any growing equipment.

A pressure cooker is not necessary with this kit however the dry ingredients will require vigorously boiling water and a mixing vessel to properly pasteurize. Once hydrated, the ingredients can be sterilized in a pressure cooker if desired. The substrate should be inoculated immediately upon cooling in a sterile environment with sterile equipment.
