magic mushrooms colorado growing
Grey Oyster fully colonized substrate block fruiting temp 55-65 degrees, 10-14 days to fruit.
This is the same inoculated substrate blocks that we use to grow mushrooms on our farm. You will have the best results if you can provide a humid area for the mushrooms to grow. Using an aquarium or plastic tub with a lid will suffice. Using a material like damp perlite to line the bottom of the container will help maintain the necessary humidity. Mushrooms need oxygen to grow, so you will need to remove the lid 2-3 times per day and help circulate the air by fanning the blocks with the lid. All of these varieties of mushrooms need 12 hours of light per day, fluorescent lights work just fine. The following instructions are how we fruit our mushrooms, they are by no means the only way to fruit your mushrooms. You can adjust the growing instructions based on the humidity where you are located. The above suggestions are for low humidity environments.
